Augustana is a 30-storey mixed-use residential tower in Edmonton's government district, just steps from the Alberta Legislature. The development combines purpose-built rental housing with ground-floor commercial space, and on completion delivered 240 rental apartments ranging from studio to three-bedroom layouts.
In partnership with the University of Alberta, select studio suites feature movable-wall technology, allowing residents to reconfigure a studio into a one-bedroom layout as needed. The building also includes roughly 6,400 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.
Probus Project Management made the tower commercially viable by leading a redesign of its typical floor plates to improve overall efficiency, and by revising the building's mechanical and electrical systems.
